| 4/16/2008 | To all of our clients - Well it seems that the issue with our ISP and their email service was a larger problem than we thought. Our ISP has been upgrading different sets of software on their servers. To say the least, the email upgrade did not go well ! If you sent an email after March 26th and prior to April 5th, we have most likely received your message along with 800 other messages. If you sent an email between April 5th and April 14th, we DID NOT receive that message. The message was not stored on our ISP's mail server and they cannot tell us what emails came in. If you sent an email on April 15th, prior to 3pm EST, we may or may not have received that message. So we are now asking your to feel free to resend your email messages. We did get in almost 800 message that were held on the server. Please note that these message are all dated before April 5th. We shall begin to go through those initial messages. Thank you for your patience and assistance as we recover from this email upgrade fiasco. |

| 4/1/2008 | Dear Clients - We have decided to venture into the American prototype market. Our initial foray will be with Hartland Locomotive Works, from LaPorte Indiana. They are an American manufacturer of "G" gauge trains and rolling stock. So all of your garden railroaders, whether inside or outside, please take a look at the new product line. We shall be adding their product line over the next few weeks. If you don't see what you want, please drop us an email and let us know. We shall immediately add the item(s) for you and let you know. | 1/9/2008 | Dear Clients - On the evening of December 30th, our Internet Service Provider ( ISP ) had a major system crash. They determined late on the 31st that they were going to need a couple of new servers. When their equipment crashed, we lost our web-site and also our email services for several days. Email was restored late on Thursday, January 3rd and our full web-site was fully functional this past Monday morning, January 7th. | 4/24/2007 | Marklin We are presenting the new Softdrive-Sine propulsion system for H0 locomotives for the first time at the Intermodellbau 2007 show in Dortmund. We have successfully reached a milestone with this in the area of locomotive running characteristics paired with maximum motor efficiency. • Innovative Motor Design: A prototypical open view through the windows of the locomotive or powered rail car remains preserved even in models such as the rail bus. The Softdrive-Sine motor has no carbon brushes or other parts to wear out and is designed with maintenance-free ball bearings for an extremely long service life. What new possibilities or changes does the Central Station offer after the update? • Route control • The possibility of connecting a computer for future updates or as an electronic circuit for controlling locomotives and trains1 • Connecting the s88 feedback module to your layout • Automatic circuits such as for push/pull operation • Improved control possibilities for locomotives. For example, the sound of squealing brakes on mfx locomotives will now be easier to activate. • Digital components such as the Control Unit can be connected to the Central Station. If other control components such as the Keyboard, Memory, Control 80f, etc. are connected to this central unit, commands from these units will also be carried out. * = Suitable software is being readied from different vendors. Will my previous data in the Central Station remain preserved after the update? In principle the data remain available for use after the update of the Central Station. In exceptional cases – such as the exchange of a defective unit – this cannot be guaranteed. Please understand that Marklin will carry out the update on Central Stations in the order that they are received and that there may be a waiting period under certain circumstances. | 12/11/2006 | Hello to everyone - It is with deep regret that I have to announce the passing of my father during the night of December 1st. His funeral was the end of last week. He was buried with full military honors. To those of us who knew him, he was truly a great man. To those of you,who knew him from my train business, you knew that he loved these trains and I can tell you that he enjoyed meeting and talking to each of you. I shall miss him greatly . . . I have been away from the shop / emails / phone calls for almost two weeks. During this time, I had almost no access to my emails. As I am able, I shall respond as quickly as possible, but please be patient. I do request that you do not resend original messages. He is in his final days and I have been spending additional time with him. Because of this, I have been unable to respond to your inquiries and phone calls. | 11/9/2006 | Marklin / TRIX has just announced several commerative locomotives and car sets for the 50th Anniversary of the T.E.E. - Trans Euro-Express. The Marklin stock numbers for the locomotives are 39401 and 39402. The passenger coach and sets are stock numbers 41870, 41871 and the individual coach 41872. Photos of the locomotives are listed on our web site, photos of the coaches are not yet available. The TRIX stock numbers for the locomotives are 22576 and 22577. | 10/10/2006 | Dear Clients, As a follow-up to the problem that developed with our ISP on October 6th, regarding our emails. We wanted to let you know some of the reasons for the software changes that are currently be implemented. One of the prime reasons to move to a different web-based email program was due to the tremendous volume of spam mail that we were receiving. There are programs that go thru web-sites and sniff out and chapture email addresses. Then, the program owners will sell those addresses to legitimate and non-legitimate marketing firms. Our web-programers have done all that they can do to hinder or prevent these programs from sniffing out our addresses. This is also the reason we only list one email address on our web-pages. The new email program that we are BETA testing, has some very sophisticated anti-spam filters contained within. We had been receiving as many as 300+ spam messages everyday. The new program has now cut that down to approximately 25-30 that actually get into our In Box on a daily basis. There we further mark those messages as SPAM. The net results that we are lookiing for is to spend less time and money, on having to go thru emails that are not relavent to you, our client or to this model train business. We are currently reviewing all emails that get thrown into the "Junk" bin, just to be sure we are not missing a legitimate email from you our client. Please feel free to contact us if you do not receive a reply within a reasonable time-frame. Also, may we suggest that you place "KET" in the first three positions of the Subject line, followed by whatever text you would normally have listed. This will always get thru to our In-Box where we can then respond to your message. THANK YOU for your patience and cooperation while we continue to implement these changes. |

| 10/6/2006 | Dear Clients - We just received word that our ISP has had a major problem today with the mailer server that our email is located on. The bottom line is that we have lost all emails - in-coming and out-going since September 14, 2006. If you have sent us an email and have not yet received a reply, please be so kind as to resend that message(s). Please accept our sincere apologies for any problems that this may cause for you. Below is what the technical staff at our ISP sent us concerning this problem. "I am emailing you in regards to your mail domain that is on our beta test SmarterMail server. Earlier this afternoon, our support team was making some configuration changes to the SmarterMail server that inadvertently corrupted the SmarterMail installation and has resulted in some users' mailboxes being deleted. The backups we created for SmarterMail now no longer seem to be compatible due to the corruption.: |

This is stock #01473, scheduled for release in 2nd quarter of 2006. Tillig also announced an HO gauge diesel locomotive. This locomotive is for the PTK.
